Mekedatu Dam: A Karnataka Minister has stated that the foundation stone for the construction of a new dam at Mekedatu will be laid by this coming March. He further affirmed that building the dam is a firm decision of the Karnataka government and noted that all technical and legal formalities for the project have been completed.
