The Anna Nagar police in Chennai have registered cases against Siddharth (son of North Chennai DMK MP Kalanidhi Veerasamy), Rani (a DMK councillor with the Chennai Corporation), and Kalanidhi Veeraswamy’s aides, Asai Thambi and Narayanan. The charges include fraud and violations under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, among other sections.
